| PROCEDURES FOR EMERGENCIES In case someone gets unjured on a fire, it is the Crew Boss' responsibility, to make sure that the individual(s) gets medical attention immediately. If the Crew Boss is not available, the Squad Boss will be responsible for handling the matter. If no one within your crew is available follow the standard procedures of contact, notify the next in command, Crew Boss, Task Force/Strke Team Leader, Division Group Supervisor, Incident Commander, etc. They are there to help you in all matters related to the assignment. Do not be afraid to ask for help, even if it is in writing. The Crewboss should be your first point of contact, unless your issue is with the Crewboss, then see the next in charge. The following chart outlines how the fire organization structure is set up with the individual on top being in charge and his subordinates underneath. |
