Quinault Nation Wildland Fire Camp Crews work in and around the 'base camp' of the Fire. QIN Staff Locations
Mission Statement They do a variety of work including trash patrol/clean-up, loading and National Sit Report
Staff unloading supplies from trucks. Working in Supplies, issuing tools and/or other Fire Weather
Fuels & Prevention needed items. Camp crews are 10 man Crews which includes their Camp Crewboss.  
Employment Camp Crews are just as important as Firefighters,  
Outdoor Burning They help set up the base camp and keep it running smoothly!

Information
  Camp Crew members must be in good physical health and able to pass a "Camp Walk Test".  
  This is a 1 mile walk, which must be completed in 16 minutes or less.  
  Camp Crew members must also attend and satisfactorially complete a 24 hour "Camp Crew Training".  
  Duties involve physical exertion and at times calling for above-average endurance  
  for extended periods of time. These duties may be done in adverse weather conditions.  
  Requirements include running, walking, bending and lifting repeatedly.
